The Secret of the Weekly To-Do List Schedule
Living by schedule is a true secret to success. Every one of us is given twenty-four hours each day and our to-do lists have never been longer. We can’t buy more time, but we can manage it and make each minute count.
Many people use a written schedule to direct their time. That sounds great, but anyone will tell you that schedules tend to get rearranged by unplanned activities, emergencies and interruptions. They are a part of life, but for many people these disruptions cause them to totally shelf the idea of living by a schedule.
One of the ways that I have learned to manage time is to do so by prioritizing the tasks that must be accomplished each day. Every Monday, I like to take a few minutes and look over my master planner and see what major responsibilities I must finish for the week. I then assign the top three major chores I must complete for each day of that week. As I finish each task, I check it off the list. At the end of the day I review my list and if I didn’t complete it, I transfer those assignments to the next day. I do my best to fulfill those top chores within the day, but sometimes things happen to the schedule and I don’t. By having this simple check list I don’t have to be concerned that I will miss an important item To help, I have created a Weekly To-Do List form. I’d like to share this with you. (Download below.) Feel free to print as many copies as you like and share with others.
The Bible teaches us to be mindful of our days and make each day count. I hope this free printable will help you do just that!
